The fourth installment of the Valtari Mystery Film Experiment, this video by Arni & Kinski does the best job thus far of capturing the uniquely contemplative and introspective nature of the latest Sigur Rós album. Much more so than their previous releases, Valtari inhabits a much more haunting and ambient soundscape, and when listening it is hard not to want to close your eyes and let it wash over you. The simplicity of vision, the beauty of their stillness, the thoughtful framing, all of this gets to the heart and power of the album.
