Which is really a shame having just finished season one of "Deadwood" which is right up there in quality and originality with "The Wire" and "The Sopranos" (earlier seasons). I read that the production of "John" was marred by rewrites on the set and general confusion about where it was going. And "Tell Me You Love Me" last year was an interesting idea but was dragged down by the completely humorless style it was done in. Maybe it's a little karma payback for HBO cancelling "Carnivale" because they haven't had a new show that has had that really outstanding edge since that got cancelled. Thank goodness David Simon is developing a new show for HBO and David Milch is developing a new show and is taking the proper amount of time to develop it ("Last of the Ninth").Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11495053235877038408noreply@blogger.com
